Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Phone Booth. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Phone Booth (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Permitted Use

Phone Booth is provided for lawful, personal voice communication. You agree that you will:

• Use the Service only for legal purposes.
• Not use the Service for fraudulent, abusive, threatening, harassing, or harmful activities.
• Not attempt to circumvent any technical restrictions or security measures.
• Not use the Service to make unsolicited commercial calls (spam calls).
• Not make prank, hoax, or malicious calls.
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

3. Emergency Calls

Phone Booth does not support emergency calls (e.g., 112, 911, 999, or any emergency services). Do not rely on this service for emergency communications. Always use a traditional phone line or mobile network for emergencies.

4. Account and Identity

You must sign in using a valid Google account and provide an accurate mobile number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate account suspension.

5. Call Charges and Wallet

• Calls are charged at ₹10.00 per minute, calculated proportionally per second.
• Billing begins as soon as the call starts ringing and continues until the call ends.
• A minimum wallet balance of ₹1.00 is required before placing a call.
• New users receive a one-time welcome credit of ₹3.00.
• All charges are deducted from your pre-funded wallet. There are no refunds for calls already made.
• Wallet top-ups are processed via Razorpay. Payments are subject to Razorpay's terms.
• We reserve the right to adjust rates with prior notice.

Billing formula:

• 30 seconds → ₹5.00
• 15 seconds → ₹2.50
• 90 seconds → ₹15.00

6. Account Suspension and Blocking

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently block any account that:

• Violates these Terms and Conditions.
• Engages in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
• Attempts to harm other users or misuse the platform.
• Has a negative wallet balance due to disputed charges.

7. Privacy and Data

We collect your name, email address (from Google), mobile number, and approximate location to operate the Service. Call records are stored for billing purposes. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is stored securely in Firebase (Google Cloud).

8. Service Availability

Phone Booth is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend the service for maintenance at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phone Booth and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
